About this Artist
Victor is a photographer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, inspired by travel, nature, and street photography. Working in both black-and-white and color, he captures people, places and everyday moments with a photojournalistic eye. Victor recently received a Certificate of Photography from the University of Washington Seattle which has further motivated his photography creativity and expanded his expertise.
About this Work
Wabi-Sabi celebrates imperfection, flaws, and the passage of time. It reminds us that life is always changing, and there is peace in accepting an imperfect world. I created a series of color photographs that explores Wabi-Sabi through a mindful and intentional perspective. This project became personal as it reflected my own transition into retirement after a long corporate career by appreciating the past, accepting that nothing is perfect, and embracing the opportunities of new beginnings.
