Kiaha Judge | Monochromatic Wonderland

About this Artist

My early photographic journey was, in many ways, an attempt to assert a form of control over the uncontrollable. If I could frame it perfectly, light it impeccably, and compose it flawlessly, then perhaps I could contain its essence, make it mine. But as I honed my craft, I began to realize that true control in photography doesn't come from manipulating every element, but from cultivating a heightened sense of awareness and intention. It's about being present, open, and receptive to what the world offers.

About this Work

This project embraces a different kind of control: the control of my own perspective. The photographic vision for this year is centered on transforming the familiar, moving beyond the traditional confines of nature photography. The aim is to cultivate a body of work that is not only visually captivating but also possesses a broader marketable appeal. This aesthetic journey is particularly drawn to the dreamlike quality of wonderland motifs, which will be uniquely rendered with the dramatic depth and timelessness inherent.
