Caroline Jusseaume | 2 Loves, One Frame

About this Artist

Caroline bought her first digital camera while pregnant with her oldest son. What began as a way to document family life turned into a creative pursuit. Over time, her photography evolved from capturing milestones to seeing the world with a more artistic eye. Caroline is drawn to the beauty of everyday moments—whether in nature, urban streets, or quiet human expressions. She gravitates toward natural light, rich textures, and unique perspectives. Photography is both a form of reflection and a way to connect more deeply with her surroundings. Through her work, she hopes to inspire others to slow down and rediscover the extraordinary in the ordinary.

About this Work

2 Loves, One Frame shows the connection between people and place through double exposure. Each photo mixes a portrait with a familiar Seattle landmark, creating a conversation between who we are and where we live. This project is close to Caroline’s heart—it brings together her love for capturing people and the city she now calls home. These layered images reflect how places shape us, and how we carry a piece of them with us. By blending softness with structure and feeling with form, the photos invite you to think about how our relationships and surroundings live side by side—and how meaning often happens where they meet.
