Josi Ribeiro | Little Hands
About this Artist
I’m originally from Brazil and moved to Seattle, WA, in 2020. I’m a wife and a mother to a beautiful girl. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me exploring new places with my family, playing board games, or savoring a good cup of coffee. My passion for photography began over a decade ago, starting with a love for capturing nature and everyday life. Over time, that passion evolved into a profession dedicated to preserving genuine emotions and meaningful stories for families and entrepreneurs. Each photo becomes a treasured memory, celebrating life’s most special stories.
About this Work
Little Hands is a photography project that celebrates the beauty of childhood learning through the sense of touch. As a family photographer and a mother myself, I’m constantly inspired by my own daughter and the way she uses her hands to explore, create, and understand the world around her. By focusing on the hands of children, this project reveals the quiet stories of curiosity, growth, and discovery that unfold in everyday moments. I love witnessing how children use their little hands to feel textures, build worlds, and express emotions, reminding us that touch is one of their first and most powerful tools for learning.
