About this Artist
Rachel is a Wyoming native based in Boise, Idaho. She discovered her love of photography while road tripping around the Western United States with her family while growing up. She enjoys travel and nature photography and recently discovered a love of food photography through this project. When she’s not taking photos, she’s exploring the mountains with her 2 dogs, baking, or discovering a new coffee shop.
About this Work
This project is a nod to French patisserie. I wanted to showcase the artistry and precision that goes into pastry by highlighting the delicate details. I was inspired by spring in Paris, particularly the flowers that drape over many of their cafe entrances. The most difficult part of this project was not eating the subjects while I was photographing them, they all look so delicious.
